We are going to ART OSAKA 2019 in July!
ART OSAKA , one of the biggest art fairs in Japan with a focus on contemporary art, will hold its 17th this year. This time, 54 galleries will participate, from both Japan and abroad including 23 from the Kansai region, 26 from the non-Kansai regions, 4 from Taiwan, and 1 from Korea. Art OSAKA is one of the summer event that must go to Osaka in the summer.
This time, Der-Horng Art Gallery will bring the artworks of four young Taiwanese contemporary artists to ART OSAKA 2019. Cheng-Yen LIN uses the usual daily life as the theme. The artworks present on one hand sharp and clear. Also, the overlapped images became the existing of what is real and what is virtual. The works make the viewers wander between reflection and impression and create an after-seeing feeling different from the daily experience. Shu-Kai LIN’ works having the city-side landscape by himself, also connecting the own life experience in them. Combining different medias in this time’s exhibited work. The theme of Yung-Chieh WU's artworks surrounded on the transformation of unclear self- positioning. WU presents the mixed emotions in life and used the soft brushwork and elegant form to transform on the artworks. Yen-Ting LIAO takes the record of life as the theme. The characters in works cover themselves with masks. The mask becomes real and dominates the consciousness.
